Stonehaven

When I was younger only live half an hour away from here was like going on holiday, the weather was always better, the people were more cheery there was a dull moment.

There's a famous chipper in stonehave that made the first ever battered Mars bar, I haveny myself tried one yet but would love to as I have heard good reviews.

Stonehaven also has Castle 2 1/4 miles away from the harbour which you can walk to from. Called Dunnottar Castle which is a stunning picture once you get close.

What seems like a small village actually has a population of 11,000 people. Stone have is only situated 15 miles from the centre of Aberdeen City.

Beautiful place for a lovely quiet walk or run. New seat is an enclosed woodland where you can let your four legged furry friend off the lead and off to explore.

There are several different walks you can take so every time you go you can change the route so you don't get board of the same old.

The scenery this walk veiws over is beautiful, no matter if where you are there is a view from each directing. The wild life this provides for is fantastic to see, butterflies, bees, birds, deer ect.

This is free to end but you can donate a small or large fund towards the up keep of the land been kept clean which I find is amazing, as there is not a lot of people in society that will consider anything like this.
